Hebrew Classes
Borehamwood and Elstree jointly runs its Hebrew classes with Radlett Synagogue, under the title of "Raydar".
The children are taught a broad cross section of Jewish studies, including Jewish knowledge, Jewish festivals, Jewish history and Israel, and learning to read and write Hebrew, and we take particular pride in involving all the family. We hold regular family education mornings around the chagim (festivals) where parents can spend the morning with their children experiencing some of the activities. In addition, outings are organised to places of Jewish interest.
Our reputation is such that children regularly win prizes in the Association of Jewish Education exams which are taken by children at Hebrew Classes throughout the UK.
Hebrew Classes take place every Sunday morning at one of our two local centres.
