Bereavement

For practical information on what to do in the event of a bereavement, including a booklet containing notes on the various laws, customs and traditions concerning death, burial, shiva and mourning, and transliterations of the "Kaddish" prayer, please see the bereavement page under the "Lifecycle" section of this website.

BES Cares offers a Bereavement Support Service to our members. If you have been bereaved and would like to talk to a Rabbi or to Karen Moss, Community Support Coordinator, please phone BES Cares on 020 8207 5741 or email . BES Cares volunteers visit members who have been bereaved to provide comfort and support.
